Is AI resume tailoring really free?
Yes. It needs a free account, and the AI tools (analysis, tailoring, cover letter, import, translation) share 300 actions every 30 days, with no credit card. Building the resume and downloading the PDF or Word file is free and doesn't need an account.
Will the AI make up experience?
No. Roles, companies, dates, education, languages and certifications are restored from your original resume after the AI answers; it only rephrases and reorders bullets, skills and projects. The analysis may list keywords you don't have: add only what's true.
Can I paste a link to the job ad?
No, paste the text of the posting: many job sites block automated reading. If you can't select the text, for example in the LinkedIn app, attach a screenshot and the AI reads it.
Does tailoring change my original resume?
No. Folium creates a new copy named after the job, with the same template and photo, and shows what changed. Your original stays as your master resume for the next application.
What happens to my data?
Your resume is sent to the AI without your email, phone number or date of birth, and Folium asks you to confirm once per session before the first AI request. The tailored copy is saved like any other of your resumes.
