What you can do with the photo
The photo is part of each design, not an afterthought pasted into a corner. In the editor you control:
- All 30 templates have a place for the photo — sidebar, header or framed panel, depending on the design.
- Shape, size and position: circle, square or rounded; four sizes; left or right in horizontal headers.
- Cropping in the browser: frame your face without an image editor, and keep up to 5 photos in a gallery to switch between.
- It stays with your resume: the photo is stored with your resume in your browser, and the AI tools never receive it — only the text is sent.
Applying to the US or the UK too? Turn off “Show photo on the CV” for that version — the photo stays in the gallery for the next application. The Word (.docx) download never includes a photo.

Do all the templates support a photo?
Yes. All 30 templates have a place for a photo, and you choose its shape (circle, square or rounded), its size and, in horizontal headers, whether it goes on the left or the right.
Should I put a photo on my CV?
It depends on where you apply. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland a photo is common and often expected; in much of Europe, the Middle East and Asia it's usual; in the US, the UK, Canada, Ireland and Australia it's normally left out. If the job posting says anything about photos, follow that.
What makes a good CV photo?
A recent, well-lit head-and-shoulders photo with a plain background, looking at the camera and dressed as you would for the job. Avoid selfies, cropped group photos and holiday shots.
Where is my photo stored?
With your resume, in your browser. The AI tools (tailoring, cover letters, translation) never receive it: only the text of your resume is sent to them.
Can I send the same resume without the photo?
Yes. Switch off “Show photo on the CV” and download again; the photo stays saved for next time. The Word (.docx) download never includes a photo.
