What a Polish CV usually includes
A typical CV in Poland has:
- Contact details: name, phone, email and city; a full address, date of birth or marital status isn't needed.
- A photo if you want one: common in Poland but not required; a neutral, professional photo works best.
- Experience in reverse-chronological order, then education, languages with levels (e.g. B2) and skills such as a driving licence (category B).
- The RODO clause at the bottom when the ad asks for it, using the employer's own wording if they give one.
Since 2019, employers in Poland don't need your consent to process the data required for recruitment, so the clause isn't always mandatory. It's still widely requested, and recommended if your CV includes extra data such as a photo, or if you want to be considered for future openings. The most common wording is: „Wyrażam zgodę na przetwarzanie moich danych osobowych w celu prowadzenia rekrutacji na aplikowane przeze mnie stanowisko.” For future recruitments, add: „Wyrażam również zgodę na przetwarzanie moich danych osobowych w celu prowadzenia przyszłych procesów rekrutacyjnych.”
