What the translation does — and doesn't
It's a translation of your own resume, not a rewrite. With the “Translate CV” button in the editor you get:
- A new copy, same design: same template, colors and photo — the original resume isn't changed.
- Headings and dates in the new language: “Work experience”, “Education” and month names switch automatically.
- Proper nouns kept as written: company and school names, tools, links, places and trademarked certification names are copied exactly.
- A copy you review before sending: AI translation can get a phrase wrong, so read it through and edit anything in the editor.
Translation is one of the AI tools, so it needs a free account and uses actions from the pool of 300 you can use over 30 days. Editing the translated copy and downloading it as PDF or Word is free, like everything else.

Which languages can I translate my resume into?

Is the resume translator free?
Yes, with a free account. Translations use AI actions from a pool of 300 that you can use anytime over 30 days — no card and no paid plan needed.
Will company names or job titles be translated?
Company, school and product names, links and place names are kept exactly as written. Job titles and descriptions are translated, so check that each job title uses the term employers in that country actually search for.
Is it better than rewriting my resume from scratch?
It saves the rewriting, but read the copy the way an employer would: smooth out anything that sounds translated, and adapt what the country expects (photo, date of birth, length). The copy is fully editable.
What happens to my original resume?
Nothing. The translation is a new document next to the original, so you keep both and can download each one as PDF or Word.
