What a Spanish CV usually includes
A typical CV in Spain has:
- Contact details: name, phone, email and city; date of birth is optional, and your ID number isn't needed.
- A professional photo if you want one: still common in Spain, but not required.
- Experience in reverse-chronological order, then education, languages with levels (A1–C2) and skills such as a driving licence (carnet B).
- Your work situation if you're from outside the EU: residence and work permit, and whether a foreign degree is recognised in Spain.
Keep it to one or two pages. For regulated professions, such as healthcare or teaching, a foreign degree usually has to be recognised (homologación) before you can practise: say if yours is recognised or in process. Some public-sector jobs ask for the Europass format.

Do I need a photo on a CV for Spain?
No, it's optional, although photos are still common in Spain. If you add one, choose a clear, professional photo; in Folium, “Show photo on the CV” turns it on or off for each CV.
Should I include my date of birth or ID number?
Neither is required. Date of birth is optional, and there's no need to put your ID number on a CV. If you're not an EU citizen, do state your work situation, for example that you hold a residence and work permit.
